THE BRIEF: For the first time ever, a beatboxer and orchestra shall improvise as one. Under the tag-team direction of Jules Buckley and Beardyman, the orchestra follows hand signals, vocal cues and sonic mimicry, to create an unstoppable mix of beatbox laden, string ridden, brass heavy beats.
THE RESULT: Probably the most high-risk show that HO has undertaken but one that truly paid off, technically and artistically. A full-house launch for HO’s new residency at the De La Warr Pavilion.
